If your payment was successful, you will receive an appointment confirmation email shortly. You will notice that there may not be a confirmed location in the appointment confirmation email. This is because we travel interstate to conduct tests and therefore, we must hire venues from third party vendors. Therefore, you will receive another appointment confirmation email at least 7 days prior to your test with the confirmed location of the test. We always try to hire venues from an Adelaide CBD location.
Please ensure you are regularly checking your emails as our primary method of contact is email. If you do not receive the location confirmation email 7 days before your test date, please contact our administration team via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We often receive questions regarding the ISLPR test and how to prepare. Firstly, it is important to make the distinction between the ISLPR test and other English tests. The ISLPR is a personalised English test which means it is not useful to prepare for the ISLPR like you would for the IELTS and other English tests. We recommend reading the following blog posts to familiarise yourself with the test format:
- About the ISLPR Test
- How your Language Proficiency is Assessed in an ISLPR Test
- What can I expect in the Academic test?
- What can I expect in the Vocation test?
- What can I expect in the Professional Registration (e.g. teacher registration) test?
We also have a self-assessment tool available on our website. The ISLPR Indicative Questionnaire was designed to give ESL learners an approximate idea of the level of their proficiency. Try it out here but remember, this is not a formal assessment and its accuracy depends on your making an honest self-assessment.
We have a number of resources available on our website to help candidates develop their English skills. Some of these resources are free and others are a paid service or product. Check them out below:
