Please use this form if you are requesting to do the online test.

Please note: it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the online test rules, terms and conditions before applying. Refunds will not be given to candidates who fail to read the rules. You will be prompted to read and acknowledge the rules, terms and conditions before you can apply for the test.

Please read the following instructions or watch this video before continuing:

Your application has not been completed until you press the “SUBMIT” button at the bottom of the screen. You will know your form has been submitted successfully once a green tick appears on the screen. Applications made without payment will not be processed.

You will receive an email at least 15 minutes prior to your test with a link to access the test. If you do not receive this email you should check your junk mail and contact our administration team. You should not open this link until you are ready to commence the test (i.e. 5 minutes before the scheduled start time). You can only open the link once.

As per our terms & conditions, you must ensure you have a fast internet connection prior to applying for the online test. You are also required to double check the speed of your internet connection the morning of your test.(Required)

It is your responsibility to ensure your internet speed is strong enough to cope with the test. An example of an adequate internet speed is provided below.

Academic: for candidates seeking entry into a tertiary course.

Vocational: for candidates who need to do an English test for vocational purposes. Before applying, you must confirm with the end-user if they will accept the online test.

We are offering 15 minute sessions to help you familiarise yourself with the online test software.

During the 15 minute session, you will be sent a practice test link. The supervisor will then go through the security procedures that you are required to complete before the test and take you through the software so that you are aware of what you can and can't do. The purpose of this 15 minute session is to familiarise you with the software. It is not a practise test and the supervisor conducting the session is not a tester. They will not be able to answer questions about your test. Please select a date below. A time will be sent to you once your application has been processed. All Saturday appointments are conducted in the morning between 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (AEST). All mid-week appointments are conducted after 5:00 PM (AEST). This is optional. If you feel comfortable with the technology you do not have to take the session. All candidates are only permitted to take this session ONCE. If you resit the test, please do not rebook this session as you will not be allocated a time.

We (ISLPR Language Services) do not think it is in your interest to repeat tests too soon. You need to give yourself time to develop your language skills or you risk wasting your test fee. Our best advice is that you leave at least a month between tests and get feedback on your test or take ISLPR English tutorials. After you complete the online test you will be sent a survey to complete. All candidates who take the online test are requested to complete the survey. You are not assessed on your answers in the survey. The survey is only administered for research purposes and your answers will be collated anonymously in our report when we seek further approval for the online test.

The purpose of the survey is to get your honest feedback about the online test so that we can continue updating the software according to your needs.
